About Villach

Villach is located in Carinthia and is the second largest city in the state only after Klagenfurt. With a population of about 62.000 it it sthe 7th largest city in Austria. the city is located on the western end of the Klagenfurt basin and is surrounded by several lakes most notable the ossiacher-see and Faakersee a few kilometers from the city. Other lakes are, silbersee, vassachersee, grünsee, magdalensee and leonhardersee.
