About Turracher Höhe

The Turracher Höhe is a ski resort located between Carinthia and Styria, The ski resort is built around a frozen mountain lake which grants the resort an extra scenic experience.  Due to the location of the slopes in the ski resort the resort feels a lot bigger than it exactly is, some slopes are located above and some are below the mountain lake.

Most slopes in the ski resort are intermediate red slopes and are perfect for the slidley more advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Some strengths and weaknesses:

Strengths:

Quiet: the ski resort is located at a remote location so most tourists can be found in other ski resorts.

Snow-sure: the Turracher Höhe is one of Carinthia’s ski resorts located at a higher elevation which grants it more snow and colder temperatures.

Weak points:

Accessibility: if you want to visit the Turracher Höhe resort you will have to drive a few hours from the closest airport.
