About Castle The Rappenloch Gorge

The Rappenloch schlucht or Rappenloch gorge is located 5km southeast of Dornbirn center in the state of Vorarlberg. The Rappenloch gorge is one of the largest gorges in central Europe and has formed over 1000s of years. at the end of the gorge you can find the Staufensee and its over 100 year old hydroelectric power station.

The impressive backdrop of the gorge is also used repeatedly for events around the year.
