About Lake Wallersee

Lake Wallersee is located in the state of Salzburg. The surface area of the lake is about 6.4km2 which makes it one of the largest lakes in the state of Salzburg.  lake Wallersee is popular with windsurfers, kite surfers and boarders and sailors. Especially in the spring and autumn the east wind is appreciated by the athletes.  Besides these watersports lake Waller see is used for swimming with several campsites located on the lakes shore line. Additionally a 20km long hiking trail leads around the lake.
