About Lake Klopeinersee

Lake Klopeinersee is one of the warmest lakes in Austria. The lake is located in the southeast of Carinthia and temperatures can get as high as 29 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Lake Klopeinersee is 1.8 km long and about 800 meters wide with a max depth of 48 meters. Lake Klopeinersee has a high water quality but the local government has to keep working to keep it this way due to the low drainage that occurs in the lake.
