About Krimml Waterfall
The Krimml waterfall are the highest waterfalls in Austria with a total height of 385m they are located in the state of Salzburg in the Hohe Tauern national park. The exceptional drip in height is divided over 3 drops of 145, 100 and 140 meters respectively. The outflow of the waterfall fluctuates between months of the year and times of the day due to the Krimml waterfall being a glacier stream. Ever since the 18th century slowly but surely more and more tourists visited the waterfalls with a current average of 400.000 visitors annually. The waterfall offers a great destination for a large number of hikers that can enjoy hiking in the surrounding mountains or to the waterfalls themselves.
