About Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg

The ski resort Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg is located in Tyrol. The resort offers a large verity in slopes and two amazing villages with a nice après-ski and possibilities to shop yourself out of all of your money in Kitzbuhel.

A state of the art snowmaking system guarantees perfect skiing for the entire season. In recent years the resort is using a new technique of saving snow from a prior season to open up the resort even earlier in the year.

Besides a great snow infrastructure the Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg has invested millions in to the modernization of ski lifts and new connections.

Kitzbuhel- Kirchberg does not have many slopes above the tree line and skiing among the trees  creates a unique experience. On the slopes there are more than enough mountain huts and restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat while you are taking a break.

As mentioned the après-ski plays a big factor in this ski resort. Après-skiing in Kirchberg goes on for hours at a time and après-ski in Kitzbuhel is more high income related.

Strengths and weak points

Strengths:

Beginners: Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg is a perfect ski resort for beginners where you will find tons of easy runs to practice and learn.

Food: you will find some great authentic mountain huts and larger restaurants all over the resort.

Après-ski: if you like to visit Austria and enjoy the famous après-ski experience this resort is among one of the best.

Weak points:

There are some flats so snowboarders will sometimes have to take a walk

During the European winter vacations the slopes can get a little crowded and you will have to wait on some lifts.
