About The Hohe Wand

The Hohe wand is located in lower Austria. the Hohe wand is home to around 250 caves some of them only accessible by mountain climbing. Due to its location close to the capital city Vienna it is a popular starting point for paragliders and hang gliders from the city. On the plateau there are numerous mountain huts where you can grab a bite to eat or stay for a view days enjoying the region. A notable attraction on the Hohe wand is the skywalk, this observation deck stands about 5 meters above the cliff face and offers a spectacular panoramic view.
