About The Gerlitzen

The Gerlitzen is a ski resort located in the heart of Carinthia. This middle sized ski resort is fully equipped to offer a few days of amazing skiing and snowboarding. A part of the slopes look out over lake Ossiachersee which creates a special view while enjoying the snow. For children the ski resort has numerous ski schools with perfect accommodations. The whole resort can be artificially snowed by the use of their snow canons.

Strengths and weaknesses:

 Strengths:

Food: Food on the mountain is offered by lots of small mountain huts where you can eat some good food for a good price.

Child friendliness: in the Gerlitzen ski resort you can find 2 child slopes where the kids can learn how to ski in a safe area.

Weak points:

Busy: during the weekends the ski resort can be really busy with locals form the nearby cities of Villach and Klagenfurt.
