About Damüls
Damüls is a ski resort located in Vorarlberg that offers 79 km of slopes. The resort is build out of 2 villages which each have their own character. Damüls and Mellau. In the resort of damüls you can predominantly find red and blue runs. Damüls was once declared the snowiest village in the world you can’t get more snow secure than that. For snowboarders and freerides there are loads of opportunities to enjoy the ski resort as well. For the advanced skiers there is a nice mogul slope on the north side of the resort.
If après-ski is your thing this is not the ideal ski resort for you. there are some huts and bars along the slopes and in the village but nothing like some of the other ski resorts in Austria.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths:
-Damüls is not too busy and very snow secure with lots of blue runs this is perfect for beginning skiers. The accommodations often are located immediately at the lifts.
-The off-piste possibilities are almost endless due to the high amounts of snow and treeless slopes.
-The resort is very snow secure.
-Damüls offers good food on the slopes for reasonable prices.
Weak points:
-Not a lot of nightlife
-Damüls can be quite expensive
