About Burg Hochosterwitz

The famous Austrian Burg Hochostertwitz is located in Carintha next to the town of Sankt Veit an der Glan. The castle stands on a 175 meter high hill and is one of the most impressive castles in Austria. Hochosterwitz castle is open for the public from April to October and can be reached by walking or taking the lift to the top of the castle.
