Skiwelt wilder Kaiser- Brixental is one of the largest ski resorts of Tyrol and Austria. with over 280km of slopes every skier or snowboarder will enjoy it here. If you are looking for something different for a day other resorts such as Kitzbuhel is right around the corner.

Skiwelt wilder Kaiser-Brixental is located in the Kitzbuhler-alps this part of Austria makes for lots of blue and red slopes with nice long paths through the forests. If you are looking for some expert black runs the hohe salve and choralpe offer some exciting runs.

Skiwelt is ideal for children and families the ski resort offers many child friendly extras from a children’s only slope to entertainment and perfect skiing instructions.

If you are looking for a snow secure ski resort this is not your best choice due to the low altitude the snow conditions especially during the start of the season can be less then desirable. Just like most Austrian ski resorts almost all slopes are equipped with snow canons to allow for better snow conditions.

The ski welt wilder Kaiser-Brixental offers many different villages which all have an authentic Austrian feel to it. Some of the villages are Ellmau, Westendorf, Soll and Brixental. In the ski resort itself you will find over 70 restaurants and huts so you will never have to look far for a bite to eat.

Strengths and weak points

Strengths:

Many opportunities for large skiing tours across the whole ski resort including 2 of 80 and 90km respectively.

Beginners will feel right at home in the ski welt with perfect blue beginner runs and many ski schools

No flats, ideal for snowboarders.

Après-ski is widely available and for those who are looking for a party can enjoy themselves to the fullest in the ski welt

Weak points:

Busy, especially during the European winter holidays the ski welt can get really busy and even though most ski lifts are modern you will sometimes have to wait at some lifts.

Off-piste skiing possibilities are limited in the ski welt resort.             

Snow security, due to the low altitude of the ski resort the valley runs will get soft by the start of the afternoon.
