About Stift Herzogenburg

Stift Herzogenburg or Herzogenburg monastery is located in lower Austria and was  founded in 1112. Due to regular flooding of the Danube river the monastery was moved to Herzogenburg in the year 1244.

The monastery offers a great amount of history for visitors to see, including a library a church and the centuries old organ.
