About Stausee Kops

The kops reservoir or Stausee kops is located in Vorarlberg Austria and is used as a backup for hydroelectric energy.  The reservoir lies at around 1800 meters above sea level and was built from 1962-1969

The kops reservoir can be reached by car on foot or by bike. A hiking trail leads around the lake.
