About The Langbath Lakes

The Langbath lakes , vorderer and hintere Langbath lake, are located 8 km west of the Ebensee in the upper Austrian part of the salzkammergut region.  the lakes are characterized by crystal clear water of drinking water quality.

The vorder langbath see is about 1.1 km long and 500 meters wide. Its deepest point is around 33 meters deep. In the summer the water can reach a nice 24 degrees Celsius perfect for a quick swim.

The hinter langbathsee is about 600 meters long and 400 meters wide with its deepest point at 13 meters below the water level. The hinter langbathsee is hardly used as bathing lake due to the amount of algae.
