About Ischgl
Ischgl is a large ski resort located in Tyrol it sometimes is called the Ibiza of the alps due to the après-ski that is here. With all the après-ski bars, discos and nightclubs it won’t surprise you that the prices in Ischgl are a lot higher than the average in Austria.
With one million overnight stays, Ischgl is at the top of the list of most popular winter destinations in Austria. large parking lots on the outskirts of the village are filled every day with the cars of day-trippers coming from the smaller neighboring villages. Despite the fact that there are three very modern gondolas going up from the village, there may be waiting times at the lifts during the European holiday weeks.
The village is always busy and offers a car free street that is full of shops restaurants and cafes. A pedestrian tunnel forms a connection between the 2 parts of the village.
